Dora J. Wilson passed away in Spring, Texas on January 29, 2013 at the age of 99. She was born on December 19, 1913 in Taylor, Texas to Josef Andrew Jirasek and Emilie Leshikar-Jirasek. Dora is preceded in death by her parents; 9 siblings; her husband of 51 years, Robert E. Wilson; son, Glenn R. Wilson; and daughter, Earline Wilson-Taylor. She is survived by her son David W. Wilson and his wife Dana; her daughter, Janice R. Wilson-Deaton; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with funeral services to begin at 3:00 pm, officiated by Dr. Stephen Porter. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park. Billy Scogin, Charles Wilson, Chuck Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Joe Wilson, John Avara, and Mark Decker will be serving as pall bearers.
