Delmon Edward Bailey, age 70, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. Born on September 28, 1952 in Warren, Arkansas he was the first child of the late James R. and Regenia Bailey (Bolton). “Ed” as he was known to all was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents James Richard Bailey and Regenia Ann Bailey as well as his younger brother James Michael Bailey. He is survived by his loving wife Ana Bailey, daughter; Terri Bailey, grandson; Alexander Vasquez, sister; Sharon Jockenhoefer, niece; Laura Saravia (husband, Marlon), nephews; Richard and Christopher Jones and great nephews/nieces; Felipe, Nayeli and Marlon.
Ed enjoyed more than anything being a father and grandfather to his beloved Terri and Alex. He enjoyed spending time traveling with his loving wife Ana whom he spent the best years of his life with. His favorite times were with family whether it be camping, traveling, riding his trike or just cooking a great brisket on the smoker for no specific reason at all. Whom he considered family was much more than blood relation and although not blood brothers, Ed and Donald Brown were as close as it gets. Where you found one you very likely found the other getting into something they shouldn’t of course. Ed was a proud member of Hou-Tex Hog Chapter 5075 for many years and had many brothers there as well.
Ed has touched many throughout his 70 years here with us and his memories will live on among the many who know and loved him for all he was.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 14 from 5:00PM-8:00PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home located at 8501 Spencer Highway Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Celebration of Ed's life will be held Saturday, October 15 at 2:00PM. Immediately following he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
