Emma Allen Morgan

Emma Iris Morgan passed away on April 23, 2012 in Pasadena, TX at the age of 77. She was born on August 11, 1934 in Marion, VA to Herbert and Nellie Allen. Emma was employed by Dow Chemical and retired after 12 years of service. She resided in Waller, TX for 20 years and was an active member of New Hope Methodist Church. She enjoyed her Bible study class, gardening and living life to the fullest.

Emma is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Frank Morgan; parents, Herbert and Nellie Allen; brothers, Clayton and P.T. Allen; and sister, Priscilla Morgan. She is survived by 2 sons, Rusty Morgan and his wife Linda, and Mark Morgan; 1 daughter, Wendy Nyland; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and her long time companion, J.B. Blakemore.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, and Sunday, April 28 and 29, 2012. at Grand View Funeral Home. Visitation on Saturday will be from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, 2012, with interment to follow in Houston National Cemetery.
