

Frank was born on June 13, 1953 in La Junta, Colorado to parents Ramona and Frank Mascarenas, Sr., who proceeded him in death. Frank was the eighth of thirteen children. Frank graduated from La Junta High School and attended Central Texas College and TSTI in Waco, where he earned a degree in electrical science. After graduating, he began a career as an electrician with Houston Lighting and Power Company.
Frank married Anita Mascarenas in June of 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen, Texas. They made their home in Pasadena, Texas and began growing their family. The day he married Anita was the most important event in his life. Together they raised Frank was devoted and open minded. He was always providing a laugh to those around him as he was very sociable and fun loving. Frank was known to be "momma's boy." Frank loved family gatherings, playing pool, and watching boxing. He enjoyed listening to oldies music, Tejano music, and classic country.
In addition to his parents, Frank is proceeded in death by his son Ysrael Mascarenas and brother Paul Mascarenas. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Anita; sons Frank Mascarenas, III and wife Jackie, Eduardo Mascarenas and wife Jennifer, and Roberto Mascarenas and wife Fernanda; grandchildren Frank Mascarenas IV, Angel Mascarenas, Destiny Mascarenas, Nathan Mascarenas, Christian Mascarenas, Alyssa Robles, Karina Robles, Richard Mascarenas, Eduardo Mascarenas, Jr., Ariel Mascarenas, Brandon Nickerson, Jessica Nickerson, Joshua Vela, Natalie Vela, and Alaina Vela; and great grandchildren Jovann Mascarenas and Halanie Castillon. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
