He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Powell; children, Rebecca Hill, Frank Powell, III and wife Starla, John Powell and Brandi Bivens and husband Scott; grandchildren, Candice, Jack, Lane, Brandon, Frank IV, Kassie, John Henry, Madison, Brooke and Haleigh; great-grandchildren, Chase, Noah, Kai, Jonah and Donnie; brothers, John Powell and Richard Powell and sister, Dorothy Moreno.
Frank loved to go bowling, golfing and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 10 am in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home.
