Harold Kenneth Montross III (Ken) aged 68, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on September 28, 2022, after an extended illness. Ken was born in Pasadena, Texas on December 15, 1953, to Harold (II) and Jacqulyn Montross (nee’ Brittain). Ken was married to Marbeth Montross (nee’ Rugaard) for over 40 years. Ken was a devoted husband and father to two equally amazing children: his son Kenny and his daughter Brittain.
Ken served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. In his working life, Ken was a jack of all trades. He loved and cared for his family by being an amazing stay at home dad. Many friends will remember Ken’s quick wit, and ability to make anyone smile.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife Marbeth, mother Jacqulyn Simons, father, Harold Montross (II), and sisters Vonnie and Connie. He is survived by his son Major Kenny Montross, wife Allison and granddaughters Kennedy and Raegan; and daughter Brittain and her husband Joseph Driscoll. He is also survived by his in-laws, nieces and nephews, their children, relatives, and friends
A visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A graveside service will occur Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
