Ismael Deleon

Ismael DeLeon, 79, of Pasadena, passed away on June 6th, 2024. He was born in Repueble De Oriente on July 6th, 1944, to the late Regino and Petra DeLeon. Ismael was married to his beloved wife Hortensia for 41 years until her passing.

Ismael dedicated his career to serving as a pipeline operator. However, his true passion lay in gatherings with family and friends, where he found immense joy and fulfillment.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Hortensia Lopez DeLeon, and his parents, Regino and Petra DeLeon, as well as his siblings: Israel DeLeon, Julia Torres, Amador DeLeon, Carmelo DeLeon, Victoriano Marichalar, Miguel DeLeon, and Hector DeLeon.

Ismael is survived by his loving children, Benito DeLeon (Shelly) and Maribel Salazar (Juan), along with his grandchildren, Christian Soliz, Cristal Soliz, Veronica DeLeon, Monica Macias, Aleyda Salazar, and Benito Jr. DeLeon. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Mevi Soliz, Julius Soliz, Daneyda Martinez, Mirrey Martinez, Jimmy Soliz, Natali Soliz, Noe Soliz, Matthias Martinez, Camila Rocha, Angelina Garcia, Julianna Garcia, Xavier Garcia, Lincoln Salazar, Nathan DeLeon, and Emma Araguz. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings, Regino Deleon, Elisa Mora, Oscar DeLeon, Joe Marichalar, Nick DeLeon, and Roy DeLeon.

Ismael's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A visitation for Ismael will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
