Jeffery Alberti went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, April 14, 2023 , at his home in Pearland, Texas. He was born May 27, 1972, in Houston to Louis “Weegee” and Rita Alberti. He was a great son, father, brother and husband and loved with all of his heart. His mother was the apple of his eye because she was always there for him.
Jeff had a beautiful spirit and kind heart and as a child was known to his family and a baseball team as “Sugarbear.” He loved music since he could make a noise and used to sing as Elvis to his relatives and throw scarves into his “audience.” He had a devious sense of humor and made everyone laugh nonstop.
He played baseball, but football was his love and he played for Deer Park High School Varsity for four years. He earned a scholarship to play football in Arkansas, but opted to stay close to home. He followed his brother Louis into electrical work and spent many years as an electrician.
He married Stephenie and they had 20 years of marriage and three beautiful children. He loved his children and grandchild so much and loved spending time with them. He was looking forward to meeting his new grandchild this summer. He wrestled with them, sang to them and they shared tons of inside jokes.
He had some injuries and health issues, as well as struggles with addiction and lost some years.
Right after he was reacquainted with his current wife Gina, he lost nearly all of his vision due to diabetes. He went down for a while, but came back swinging and got on a mission to overcome his vision impairment and chase the dreams he had back when he was first saved at Faith Assembly of God at 18. He wanted to be a counselor and create music.
Not knowing how to use a computer, he learned how to with 15 degrees of vision in only one eye. He went to CAD school for two years and had to drop out because of his vision. He then took up substance abuse counseling to pull others out of the darkness he had been lifted from and earned his associates degree as a Licensed Chemica Dependency Counselor. He was in practicum as a prerequisite to take his state exam.
Also, he brought his spirit back with singing and was the frontman for two Houston bands, Storm Surge and Down For Days. But his most proud musical accomplishmen was his first four original songs. He wrote the lyrics and provided vocals for “Every Day is Tomorrow” and “Unspoken Sins” under the record label Desert View Records. “Sunrise Drive” and “Bossman '' were hand chosen by Cinephonix, a sister company of Warner Brothers Music, as potential songs for future movies or commercials.
Jeff was the consummate counselor who was always there to lend an ear and share a scripture of hope. He loved the lord and everyone knew it. He would pray for hours every morning before everyone woke up to scriptures he had sent them to start their day on the right path. He went on many mission trips as a teen and saved many souls during his life.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his Father Weegee Alberti, and Brother Bronson Alberti.
He is survived by his wife, Gina Alberti , his parents, George and Rita Addison, His Brothers, Louis Alberti and wife Angela, Tommy Addison and wife Michele, and Alan Addison. His Children, Preston Alberti and partner Rose Muellner, Josh Alberti, Carley Alberti and Step-son Cougar Covell. His Grandchildren, Lilly Alberti, and Violet Alberti who is expected in June, and several nieces and nephews.
