Jeffrey Kirk Wilburn

Jeffrey Kirk Wilburn, 67, of Pasadena, TX was born on August 26, 1952 and entered into rest on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Jeffrey was the first of two children born to Maurgret Frances Wilburn and E.P. “Scotty” Wilburn.

Jeffrey lived in the Houston and Pasadena area throughout his life. He attended Pasadena High School, and later began his career with the Houston Chronicle. In his spare time, Jeffrey loved watching the Houston Texans and Astros play, going to Louisiana to gamble, and most importantly, to spend time with his great nieces and nephews and daughter Andrea.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, E.P. “Scotty” Wilburn and grandparents, Inez Wood and A.D. Blackshere. He is survived by his mother, Maurgret Frances Wilburn; daughter, Andrea Mae Wilburn and wife, Tami Pearson; brother, Jim Wilburn and wife, Carol; nieces, Jillian Wingo (Nash) and Jennifer Howard (Jake); nephew, Andy Wilburn (Kim); and 11 great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX from 9:00am to 10:00am. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 10:00am with Rev. Roland Hill presiding over services. An interment service will take place following the chapel service at Grand View Memorial Park.
