Jessie Pearl West

Jessie Shirley West passed away on November 10, 2014 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born on October 8, 1944 in Houston, Texas to Fred Thomas Shirley, Sr. and Bernice Alma Shirley. Jessie was the youngest of six children born to the family.

Jessie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was proud to be a stay at home mom and volunteered at school for her sons classes through the years.

Jessie was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Shirley Dacus, her fathers, Fred Shirley, Sr., Frank W. Dacus, Sr., brothers, Fred Thomas Shirley, Jr., Rex Dacus, sisters, Barbara Ann Greer, and Mary Jo Davis.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Frank West and sons Bobby West and Kevin West. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kayla West, Morgan West, Joseph West, J.D. West. Jessie was also the proud great-grandmother of S.J. Landier, son of Kayla.

Jessie is survived by brother, Frank Dacus of Kemah, Texas and sisters; Nancy Murray of Deer Park, Texas, Billie Murphy of Humble, Texas, Sandra Roberts of Walnut, California, Betty Poland of Zavala, Texas, and Iris Parker of McKinney, Texas.

Jessie is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also the family's extended family in Alabama.

Viewing will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Grand View Funeral Home on Spencer Highway in Pasadena, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Grand View Funeral Home at 12:30pm.
