Judith Laverna Thurman, 84 lived in Nebraska City before moving to Pasadena, Texas in the mid 1940’s. She departed our world on November 1st. In life, she married in 1958 and was blessed with 2 children, Tom and Vanessa.
Judy was known for being a loving and kind sister, mother and grandmother. Her lessons in kindness and empathy shaped the legacy of the family. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Helen Schneider.
Judy is survived by her sister Jan Henderson and husband Larry; her brother Don Schneider and wife Joy; her son Tom Thurman and wife Carlea; daughter Vanessa Kendall and husband Chris. Grandson Daniel Thurman and wife Jen; Granddaughter Amber Thurman; Grandson Cheyne Kendall and wife Kari; Grandson/Sidekick Chris Hemmenway; Nieces Cheryl, Dee, Jenny and Donna and nephew Jon. And many loving relatives.
A graveside service for Judith will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery , 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
