Kenneth Eugene Withers, 90, of La Porte, Texas, passed away on January 2, 2025. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on February 12, 1934, to James and Edna Withers. Kenneth was married to Patricia Marlene Withers for 57 wonderful years.
Ken had a distinguished career in fencing, working for U.S. Steel and Withers Fence Co. He was a devoted member of Bayshore Baptist Church and cherished spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Paul Withers, his mother, Edna Ona Mathews, his beloved wife, Patricia Marlene Withers, his son, Kenneth Randall Withers, and his brother, Paul Withers.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Windham and her husband, Mike, his son, Richard Withers and his wife, Eva, his grandchildren, Kristen, Joshua, and Caleb, and his brother, Troy Withers.
A visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, on January 8, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a graveside service concluding the day's events from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
