Kevin dedicated himself to serving others, volunteering as a former firefighter with both the City of Pasadena and the City of Deer Park. He also volunteered for the Pasadena Rodeo and enjoyed all the friendships he made. He found joy in the outdoors, particularly hunting, and had a true gift for working on cars and breathing new life into old vehicles, a passion that his Pawpaw instilled in him. His hands were rarely idle, and he enjoyed building all kinds of things. His talents were a labor of love, a way for him to express himself and give back to others.
His ability to connect with people was remarkable, he forged deep, meaningful relationships with all who crossed his path. He had a special kinship with older generations, treasuring every conversation as an opportunity to learn, listen, and preserve stories from the past. He understood the power of shared wisdom, always fully present for conversations, welcoming each tale as if it were a precious gift passed down through time.
He is survived by his loving parents, Wayne and Debra Morse; his sister, Heather Smith, and her husband, Adam; their children, Ryder (15) and Reagan (11); and his beloved grandfather, Ollin Willis.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lois Morse, as well as Nell Willis. Kevin also leaves behind countless cousins, family members, and friends, all of whom were dearly loved, including his Huntsville family who he was especially close to.
Family, friends, and all who were touched by Kevin’s life are invited to a funeral service on May 8, 2025, at Grand View Funeral home in Pasadena, 8501 Spencer Highway Pasadena, TX 77505 for a visitation at 9AM, service at 10AM and a graveside at 11AM.
