

Margaret Marie Patterson Isbel, born April 22, 1927 in Abilene, Texas, was a beautiful, strong woman who enjoyed life to the fullest. She passed away on September 17, 2015 in La Porte, Texas at the age of 88. Her parents were William David and Ella Gertrude Maxwell Patterson, and her siblings were Junior, Juanita, Edgar, Jessie, Pete, Constance, and Irene.
During their 48 year marriage, Margaret and Walter Jesse Isbel lived in Houston and Pasadena, Texas. Together they owned a business in Pasadena called Isbel Engraving Company. They loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations and cruises to places such as Hawaii, Tahiti, Europe, and Alaska.
She is survived by her children: Sandra Jackson and husband, Donnie, Barbara Willis and husband, Robert, and Walter Weinbroer and wife, Mary; her grandchildren: Meagan Willis, Jennifer Willis Bowman and husband, Michael, Marc Jackson and wife, Jeanne, and Suzann Weinbroer Lind and husband, Daniel; and great-grandchildren: Matthew Lind; Zoe and Rawley Jackson; and Kayleigh, Cade, and Madison Bowman; her sister-in-law, Gerry Patterson; her lifelong best friend, Faye Woolf; and her many nieces and nephews.
Margaret enjoyed traveling in her motorhome and socializing with her many friends at Jobe Senior Center in Pasadena and the Pasadena Garden Club. She loved her dog, Prince, and most of all, she loved her family and all of the wonderful times spent with them.
