Maria will always be remembered by her trademark of RED lipstick, pearl earnings and necklace. Maria always enjoyed a good Mexican meal. She lived for her family and adored all her nieces and nephews. Every time you would see her, it was mandatory to greet her with a hug and a kiss. Her kiss would be the one that all the nieces and nephew would run away from, since she would always leave her red lipstick marked on your cheek. Then she would try to wipe it off and say "Hay Apa/Ama ya te deje el beso pintado!". Maria Rita Sosa will be truly missed by many, but forgotten by none.
Maria Rita Sosa is preceded in the death of her mother, Josefina Fuentes; brothers, Jose I. Sosa, Joaquin Sosa, Juan M. Sosa and Guadalupe Sosa. Maria is survived by her sisters, Luisa Sanchez, Angelina Garces, San Juanita Benitez and Josefina Gutierrez; brothers, Tomas Sosa and Jose J. Sosa; Many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in Grand View Funeral Home. The celebration of life will be celebrated Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View.
