I love and miss you Mom so much!  It’s 2 years today that you went home to be with our Lord and Savior but you remain in our hearts until we see you again .  ❤️❤️❤️

I would have never though that my family could be so lucky to meet your daughter Kerri, and her family through Andrew.  Our boys Aidan and Andrew were the dynamic duo on the Rams football team and on the baseball field. Soon the Ramos family and the Peña-Weed family became fast friends. But, I never would have thought that we could be so lucky to have met you and your husband Ernest. When my family meet you, it was at the worst time of my life, when I lost my Mom, Carmen R. Peña. I remember being at Aidan and Andrew's football game, and you reminded me so much of my mom that I began to get chocked up.
You said to me, are you ok mija? I said yes, but that you reminded me so much of my mother, and that I was so sad that my son would no longer have his Momo at his games to cheer for him. You then said to me, its ok, I am here to cheer for them both! Then I really couldn't stop crying! So just those little words meant the world to me. It was an instant love that I had for you!

I will always remember how you always made me  fell "part of” every time I saw you. Thank you so much for being that Angel on Earth that I needed, and now you are an Angel next to my Mommy!

Ms. Mary Lou will always be a special friend in my life.   Growing up, I became great friends with her daughters.  She’d faithfully attend church with her family.   Though Cynthia and Kerri were older they always made me feel like family.  We all grew up together and had some great memories.   Ms. Mary Lou was devoted to Jesus and her family.    Soon her daughters all were leaders in the church, helping out in the different ministries.  It says something about Ms. Mary Lou and her love for God.  She loved life and had a heart of gold.  I love you Ms. Mary Lou and I can’t wait to see you again.  Brother Ernest, Cynthia, Kerri, Carma and Ernest you guys are all in my heart and prayers.  Continue to live your faith strong. Mimaw I love and miss you so very much.  I am glad to have had special memories of you to cherish but I’m going to miss spending the holidays with you  they were so special .  I’m going to miss your candy cane cookies and your delicious buenelos.  I know your with Jesus now and I know I will see you again .  Until then Mimaw know that I love you and miss you!

My beautiful sister I didn't know what to think other than this is not real but I know in my heart it is. I'm going to miss you so much because I looked up to you and I could talk to you about anything. We sisters shared so many good memories and sad ones to but we never left each other behind we always watched out for each no matter what.  I know that you are happy being with the lord and the rest of our family.  I just wish I could see your smile and hear your laughter one more time. Sis I love you so much and I know that its not over. We will meet again and I will see your smile and hear your laughter forever.

To my bonus family, there are no words to express the pain that we are feeling.  Our hearts are heavy, but we are strong.  We have so many fond memories of Mimaw that we will cherish.  Way too many restaurant memories to share, but my fondest memory will always be H-E-B.  I will miss the fresh baked cookies you baked for the holidays. I will truly miss being able to pickup the phone to call or text you. 

I am grateful that we get to choose the people we call family outside of the family that we are born into. I am truly blessed to call you family for over 35 years.  We love you'll beyond measures.  ~Evette & Tatiana

Mom where do I begin ... you were my rock my best friend my teacher in Christ.  I thank you for giving me Jesus and teaching us in the ways of the Lord.  You were an awesome mom you showed us how to love and how to be strong.  Mom I miss you so very much .  But I know that I have the hope that one day I will see you again.

Grandma, where do I begin..? You were more than just my grandma. A friend, an elder sister in Christ, and my mama in the Faith. You and grandpa took me into your home when I was broken and needed love. You coached me up in Christ our Lord and I will really miss, but cherish our conversations about the Word of God. You gave me the most precious gift in this world in buying me my first bible. You showed me the Love of our Father in heaven and I am very grateful that you were able to meet both of your great-granddaughters. You are and always will be a blessing. I love you. 

To our  wonderful Aunt Marylou , who was always there for us from the time we were born. When our mother passed away, you were there  to help  our brother keep us together. And for that we will be forever grateful, you have always been a Blessing to us . You took us to church and  taught us the word of God , We are Blessed  to receive Gods Salvation and are assured that one day we will see you and all of our loved ones again. we are sad for now and miss you deeply, but  we know we have Gods promise that one day we will see you again.

My sister Mary Lou, I was always beside you learning and watching you! Sister, How is it that I never saw your wings when you were here with me? When you closed your eyes and soared to Heaven. I could hear the faint flutter of you wings as you left. Your body no longer on this side! I close my eyes and see the wings
surround me in my saddest moments and my happiest times.. Sister my angel, God has given you your assignment. You fly into my dreams and when I am asleep. I feel your wings brush against my face wiping away the tears I shed since I can no longer sit and visit or long talks and laughter... our eating out. Decorating, cooking, baking... etc.
Dear Sister, you will always be in my heart.. I love you and I miss you so much! Forever with me.
