

Nick had many jobs over the years but he was most fond of his time in the United States Army. He proudly served his country for 21 years. He held many titles over the years. Some of which were: Senior Cryptologist Specialist, Tactical Telecommunications Center Operator, Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Senior Sergeant and Recruiter. He was responsible for 8 stations in a 2,500 mile recruiting area. He also received many awards and commendations over the years. Some of which were:

- Army Good Conduct Medal- 7th Award
- National Defense Service Medal with Service Star
- NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3)
- Army Service Ribbon

- US Army Gold Recruiter Badge with 3 Sapphire Achievement Stars
- US Army Gold Recruiter Ring
He loved his family and friends very much. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys and could always be seen in an Army cap when out of the house. He had many special friends and he cherished every one of them.
Nick is survived by his wife, Sonia Wildey, of eleven years, Chihuahua-mix Rosco, sister Becky Waters and her spouse Ray of Alaska, four children: Pam, Ashley, Sandy and Amanda of Texas, two nieces and three nephews, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both his parents and a brother. He will be greatly missed.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505, followed by a celebration of life service at 5:30 PM.
