Norma Gayle (Godwin) Boike, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Pasadena, Texas on March 24, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on January 20, 1938, in Cullman, Alabama.
Norma touched many lives through her love, kindness, and caring spirit. She was a devout Catholic who cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them all. Her life was filled with care and service to others, and all who entered her home felt welcomed. She had a passion for sewing, cooking, and gardening. She will be remembered by her faith, compassion, resilience, sharp memory & wonderful sense of humor.
She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Estelle, her brothers Harold and George, and her husband of 69 years, Gene Boike. She is survived by her sister Martha Carroll, her children Sheila McGrath (David), Jeanie Wood (Robert), Steve Boike, Sandra Shaw, Dan Boike (Teresa), and many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed, but her love will remain in our hearts forever.
