Olva D. Leach, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away Monday, August 8, 2011. Born December 29, 1915 in Perry, Arkansas, he lived in Pasadena since 1956. He retired from Solvay Corp. in 1982, after working 26 years as a Chemist. He loved all sports, bridge, gardening, reading, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Homer S. Leach. He is survived by his sister Juanita Windham; children, Ronald Leach, Richard Leach, Pat Compton, Sue Leach, and Pam Welch; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 1PM to 3PM at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation in the Chapel at 3PM.
