Patricia Anne Cashin

Patricia Anne Cashin, 76, passed away on August 8, 2015 in Houston, TX after a long illness. She was born on August 29, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to William and Gertrude Duggan. The family moved to Texas in 1953. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers William Duggan, John Duggan, Timothy Duggan; sisters, Mary Borut and Margaret Willis; and her son, John Charles Cashin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John Thomas Cashin; daughters Eileen Colgin and husband Bobby of Pasadena, Coleen Brown and husband, Allen of Shoreacres, Chrissy Babb and husband Bucky of Pasadena; Grandchildren, Stacey Thomas and husband Wade of Kingwood, Paul Colgin and wife Sabrina of Bellaire, Karla Anne Smith and husband Buck of LaPorte; and Erin Babb of Pasadena; sister Eileen Gray of Pasadena; brother James Duggan of Sarasota, Florida . She was also blessed with 8 Great Grandchildren, Makena & Mylee Thomas; Rory and Maddox Colgin; Jeremy, Hunter, Alyssa and Zach Smith. Numerous nieces and nephews- she was a wonderful Aunt to all but shared a very special bond with her niece Karla Sorensen. Patricia had many friends, she loved and cared for them all.

Patricia enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends, dancing, reading, the morning crossword puzzle, word search and computer games. She was one of the original members of St. Augustine Church and worked in the banking industry for over 10 years. Her humor, quick wit, spunk and huge heart will be missed.

The family wishes to thank all the neighbors, Dr. Kent Schnell and Hospice Plus for their care and support.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Colgin, Allen Brown, Bucky Babb, Wade Thomas, Paul Colgin, Buck Smith, and Mark Rusin.
