Peggy McIntosh, a beloved member of her community in La Porte, Texas, passed away on July 4th, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on November 6th, 1940, in Galveston, Texas, to Ruth and Jesse Davis, Peggy was married to Robert McIntosh for 44 years.
During her career, Peggy worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for M.D. Anderson and Texas A&M Galveston, where her dedication and skill were well-regarded. Beyond her professional life, Peggy had a deep love for fishing, gardening and cherished her pets, including both dogs and cats.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Jesse Davis. She is survived by her loving husband Bob, her two sons Todd and Christopher, her grandchildren Joshua, Troy, and Meghan, and her great-grandson Asher.
Her legacy of kindness, dedication to her family, and passion for fishing and gardening will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
