Phyllis worked at Kroger as a cake decorator and in Deli for many years in Conroe, TX where she retired at 67. Phyllis was from a family of nine, six brothers and two sisters and she was the baby of the family. She loved to sit on the porch watching the squirrels and hummingbirds but no mistake that at a moments notice she would not hesitate to get her hands dirty building fences and working in the yard and most of the time while wearing three-inch heels. She loved her kids and grandkids and being with them was so important to her. She was a loving wife and mother. Phyllis will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Virgil Jackson Bryant and Eva Mae Johnson, husband Roy Nelson Wells, son Ralph D. Ellison, six brothers and two sisters, grandson Dylan Beavers and great grandson Gage.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Thresia Martin and April Hix and husband Stan Hix, son Tim Ellison and wife Michelle Ellison, grandchildren Candace Trotter, Amy Martin, Trey Martin, Joshua Martin, Justin Ellison, Amanda Gaspard and four great grandchildren.
