Roy Scott Baker passed away in his sleep at his home in Friendswood on Dec. 30, 2013. Scott leaves behind scores of friends, co-workers and family. Services will be held at Grand View Memorial in Pasadena on Saturday, January 4, at 12:30 pm. The family will receive friends at 11:30 in the Chapel.
Scott is preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Carolyn Baker. He is survived by his wife, Penny Friday-Baker of Friendswood, his father, Jim Baker and mother, Marcy Baker. He is also survived by his sister Rhonda Gibson along with his brother Bruce Baker and wife Penny. Scott loved his extended family of nephews, CJ Baker and wife Shelley, Greg Baker and fiancée Alex Bell, and Kade Gibson as well as nieces Kelsie Gibson and Stephanie Camp and husband Mike and daughter Nora. Also, by Carolyn's children Terry Aaron, David Vicars and wife Gwen and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations in Scott's name to Star of Hope Mission where Scott and Penny were active in caring for the homeless in the area.
