Rachel Georgina Carmichael, 81, of Deer Park, Texas, went Home to the Lord on January 13, 2023.
She was born in Galveston, Texas on February 28, 1941. Georgina graduated from Ball High School and married to the late John Carmichael. They lived in Korea, Hawaii and Indiana before settling down in Deer Park, Texas.
Georgina was employed and retired from the Deer Park Independent School District as a principal’s secretary, where she gladly served the students and community of Deer Park with love, care, and respect.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working on puzzles and traveling. Georgina had a passion for helping people and cared deeply for others.
Georgina is survived by her children, Todd Allen Carmichael, Tracey Ann Long and Trent Aron Carmichael and their spouses as well as 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Georgina was a faithful woman of God, a true prayer warrior, and an incredible example of Christ’s love for people. She was a wise woman, who gave the world an example of how to be a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Georgina was a blessing to every life she touched and through her memories, her legacy will live on.
