Rachel Annette Harrison Herreth

Rachel Annette Harrison Herreth, age 72 years, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from complications of Uterine Cancer. Rachel was born in Bay City, Texas on September 29, 1943. She resided in Pasadena for nearly 50 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Pasadena, and was retired after a long career in nursing.

Rachel is preceded in death by her husband of nearly 46 years, Bobby Herreth, her sister Kathy Jarnagin , and her parents, Percy and Marie Harrison of Bay City, TX. She is survived by; daughter, Shannon Kemp and her husband Ken of Houston, TX; son, Scott Herreth and his wife Deanna of Pearland, TX; daughter, Amy Burke and her husband Lyles of Pasadena, TX; 8 grandchildren, Taylor Kemp, Ashton Kemp, Noah Kemp, Reagan Herreth, Mikayla Herreth, Devyn Herreth, Dalton Burke, and Loren Burke; brother, Charles Harrison and his wife Virginia of Houston, TX; sister, Corrine Wright and her husband Donal of Mason, Texas; brother-in-law Clyde Jarnagin of Friendswood, TX; sister, Frances Penland and her husband Bob of Marlin, Texas; as well as a large extended family and many friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.

Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. in Grand View Memorial Park.

Following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 at First Presbyterian Church, Pasadena, 4647 Preston Rd, Pasadena, TX 77505.

In lieu of usual remembrances memorial contributions in memory of Rachel may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Pasadena General Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society.
