Gina was born in Dallas, Texas on April 5, 1967 to parents, Sherry Ruth and Lanny Curtis Myers, she was a loving and dedicated mother, foster mother, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed camping, fishing, arts and crafts, and spending time with family.
Gina was preceded into Heaven by her mother Sherry Ruth Myers and her sister Lana Kayleen Myers, grandmother Dorothy Hopper and mother in law Anna Rivera.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Francis Rivera, and children Jennifer, Eric and Lana Rivera, and her father Lanny Myers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 South Main St. Pasadena, Texas 77506.
