Rodrick James Stewart, 83, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in Pasadena. He was born in Ida Grove, Iowa, on January 21, 1942, to the late Paul and Velma Alice Butler Stewart.
Rick pursued many interests, some of which included going to the rifle range and hunting. He found peace in the outdoors whether it be tinkering in the shop or just sitting on the porch. Rick had a passion for woodworking and was very good at it.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters Jean and Sharon. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his son Darryl Kelley and wife Renee; his daughter April Richardson; his grandchildren Kimberly Kelly, Roy Brooks III, and Devon Kelley; his sister Peggy; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family request no flowers be sent for his service as he will be laid to rest in Iowa.
