

Rose Ann Haun, a resident of Deer Park, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2011. She was a Christian woman, the wife of a gospel preacher, member of the Church of Christ, writer, poet, business owner and manager of Haun Publishing Company. Rose Ann was valiant, precious, gracious, elegant, vivacious, and tenderly loving. We miss her laughter, her brilliant smile, her welcoming arms. She brought beauty and warmth to the lives of those fortunate to know her. Her influence will be felt for generations to come.
Rose Ann led a beautiful life of devotion to her Heavenly father, her husband, and her family. Rose Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Guy Rideout and Lula Mae Rideout, her brother Holbert Rideout, and her beloved husband of 62-1/2 years, Delton Haun. She is survived by her loving family: sister, Rita Gotcher of Phoenix, Arizona, brother, Harold Rideout of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Stella Rideout of Abiline, Texas, three children, Andra Ramsey and her husband, Dwight Allen of Pearland, Glenda Stansell of Pasadena, and Denver Alan Haun and his wife Sheila, of Madison, Alabama; ten grandchildren, Jill Ann Glasgow and her husband Kirk Owen, Julie Marie Allen and her husband, Robert Joseph, Jamee Jeannine Hasty-Shores and her husband Sam, Jason Delton Stansell and his wife, Maria Louise, Heather April Morris and her husband James Keith, Melanie Brook Doyle, and her husband, Marc, Taylor Gray Stansell and his wife, Holly Ann, Chelsea Rose Stansell, Starr Tabitha Haun, Holly Alena Kehoe and her husband Clay; thirteen great-grandchildren, Justen Michael Ramsey, Jennifer Jeannine Glasgow, Austin Evan Glasgow, Jordan Ramsey Allen, Kaitlin Brooke Allen, Kaila Denay Hasty, Amandy Nicole Hasty, Richard Ryan Hasty, Elizabeth Megan Shores, Ashlyn Riley Stansell and Layton Wyatt Stansell, Harrison Delton Stansell, Colt Branden Kehoe, great-great granddaughter, Autumn Elise Ramsey; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2011, at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway in Pasadena with funeral services to be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 20, 2011, with Robert Ferrar officiating. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland. Those serving as pallbearers are: Denver Alan Haun, Jason Delton Stansell, Taylor Gray Stansell, Justen Michael Ramsey, Austin Evan Glasgow, and James Keith Morris.
