He was born in Hardin County, Texas on December 5th, 1931 during the Great Depression Era. He served his country in the United States Army. He retired as a Houston Firefighter, He made it to the rank of Senior Captain and was extremely proud of his years of firefighting.
He was a perfectionist, craftsman, woodworker & could repair anything. He was an animal lover and leaves behind his three beloved dogs and cats.
He is preceded in death by his wife Joanne Jordan. He is survived by his son Samuel Roger Jordan and wife Kim Jordan, grandson Josh Jordan and his wife Randi Kay Jordan, and granddaughter Brianna Hill and her husband Scott Hill. He also leaves behind his three great grandchildren Hudson Jordan, Gentry Hill and Nash Hill.
