Vernon Lloyd Bowen, Sr., passed away on January 31, 2011, in Pasadena, TX. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dora Bowen; daughter, Tracey Mann and parents, Ted and Virginia Bowen. Vernon is survived by his sons, Vernon L. Bowen, Jr. and wife Debbie and Gregory Bowen; daughter, Diane Waters and husband Charles; step-sons, Donald and Tommy Newsome; step-daughter, Donna Murphy and husband Pat and numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home.
