Viola Gonzales

She is preceded in death by her husband Alejos Gonzales and grandson Louis Gonzales; five sisters, Margarita, Maria, Dora, Rachel, Carlotta, and seven brothers, Angel, Alfredo, Edward, Jose, Lupe, Archbishop Patrick Flores, and Tony.

Viola is survived by six daughters; Alberta Sanchez, Linda Jimenez, Alice Galan, Rita Lopez, Sandra Garcia, and Margaret DeLeon, five sons; Alex Gonzales, Robert Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Albert Gonzales, and Joseph Gonzales; 40 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, 37 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Guadalupe Flores.

Our mother was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed playing dominoes & bingo, and knew her way around the kitchen, especially making her tamales that were enjoyed by so many. She was the matriarch of our family and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 5, 2022 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with a Rosary beginning at 7:00PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Celebration of Mass will occur Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10:00AM at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 Main Street, Pasadena, Texas 77506. Immediately following Viola will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
