

Arlene Jean (Hebb Holaway) Nation died Sunday, February 14, 2021 in Pharr, Texas at the age of 85. She was surrounded by the love of her husband Lloyd Nation and bonus daughter Jill Eich in her passing.
Arlene was born on May 18, 1935 near Dunning, Nebraska to Grant and Nettie (Wilson) Hebb. She graduated from high school in Kearney, Nebraska and after a variety of jobs in her twenties, made her way to Arizona where she met and married David Holaway in 1967. They lived in Arizona, Arkansas and Texas before enjoying traveling in their RV in retirement. After David’s death in 2006, Arlene settled in Arkansas near her son and family. In 2010, Arlene married Lloyd Nation and they enjoyed 10 happy years together traveling to see friends and family while living in south Texas.
Arlene is survived by her husband Lloyd, daughter Joyce and husband Simon Fletcher of Edinburgh Scotland, son Mark and wife Heather Holaway of Fayetteville Arkansas, daughter-in-law Reuvina Holaway, bonus daughter Jill Eich and five special grandchildren – John David, Caitlin, Stuart, Oliver and Marti Pearl.
She is preceded in death by her husband David Holaway, her parents, her brothers Lester and Kenneth Hebb, her beloved sister Frances Hebb and infant sister Lois.
Arlene spent her life devoted to her greatest loves, serving the Lord and taking care of her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, March 7th an event room at 1210 S Raul Longoria Road, Edinburg Texas.
