

Born on December 29, 1968, in McAllen, Texas, Danny was a brave, kind-hearted, and devoted man whose life left a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. A devoted Christian, Danny had an unwavering love for God and was known for his deep faith. He lived his life with honesty, integrity, and a generous spirit.
Danny was the son of Eva and Willie Cantu. In his younger years, Danny was the life of the party, known for his sense of humor and his love for joking around. He had a passion for BBQ, classic VW beetle, and was also an avid fan of spanish classical music, particularly the sounds of guitar. Danny took guitar lessons and developed a deep love for playing spanish classical guitar music. Music was a constant joy in his life, and it resonated deeply with his soul. Danny was a conservative and reserved man. He enjoyed spending quality time with his beloved mother, Eva.
Danny’s legacy will be remembered for his devotion to his faith and family. His kind nature, sense of humor, and love of music will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Cantu was preceded in death by his father, Willie T. Cantu.
Danny is survived by his mother, Eva Cantu; his siblings, William Paul (Nora) Cantu, David (Sandra) Cantu, Jose Luis (Evangelina) Cantu, Marylou (+Gerardo) Inocencio; his nieces and nephews, Denver, David Roy, Jessica, Rey, William Levi, Joseph, Clarissa, Janelle, Josiah; countless friends who were touched by his life.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. with a talk service at 6:30 pm and prayer service at 7 pm, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Visitation will resume at 8:15 am on Friday, March 27, 2026, with a christian service at 9:30 am at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
