Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Efrain was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted mother, Leticia Martinez, and his father, Efrain Carrasco Sr.; his cherished brothers, Isaias Carrasco and Jesse Carrasco; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Efrain was preceded in death by his sister, Aynee Lizette Carrasco, whom he loved deeply and missed dearly; his maternal grandfather, Jose Guadalupe Martinez; his maternal aunt, Maria Luisa Martinez; his maternal uncles, Lorenzo Guzman and Valentin Martinez; and his paternal grandmother, Petra Carrasco.
Efrain had a deep love for the ocean and found peace in walking outdoors. He was a gentle soul with a great heart—affectionately known to his family as a "big old teddy bear" for his warm, generous hugs and kind spirit. A passionate fan of Greek mythology, comic books, and anime, Efrain had a vibrant imagination and a lifelong love of storytelling.
Above all, Efrain loved his family unconditionally. His bond with his mother, brothers, and sister was unbreakable, and he showed his love through his caring nature and quiet strength.
Efrain will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
