Gloria R Moreno

Gloria R Moreno, a devoted and beloved member of the Edinburg, Texas community, passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 17, 1946, Gloria was a cherished daughter of the late Pedro and Carolina Moreno.

Gloria was a dedicated caregiver, a role that she embraced with compassion and commitment. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life into her personal interests, where she found joy in baking and cooking. Gloria cherished dining out with her family, with Luby's being her favorite restaurant, and she enjoyed her visits to HEB.

A devoted Catholic, Gloria spent time as a CCD Teacher, sharing her faith and values with others. Her life was a testament to her deep commitment to her faith and her family.

Gloria is survived by her brothers, Tomas Moreno and Ricardo Moreno, and her sisters, Yolanda Moreno and Alicia Rodriguez. She is preceded in death by her father, Pedro Moreno, her mother, Carolina Moreno, her brother, Pedro Moreno Jr., and her sisters, Rosa Mora and Maria Estella De Los Rios.

Gloria will be remembered for her kind heart, her dedication to her family and faith, and the joy she brought to those around her.
