Gloriella Villegas

Gloriella Villegas, age 45, of Mcallen, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at home surrounded by her beloved family. Gloriella was born June 28, 1976 to Gloria A. Martinez and Heriberto Martinez in Pharr, Texas.

Gloriella is survived by her four children, Melissa Gabriela Villegas; her son Melquiades Alejandro Villegas; her daughter Melvy Patricia Villegas; and her son Mauricio Heriberto Villegas; her mother Gloria A. Martinez and her father Heriberto Martinez; her grandchildren Adalberto Olivarez, Jeremiah Isaiah Dominquez, and Xai Loriel Ovalle. along with numerous extended family and friends.

Gloriella was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a woman of great drive and dedication as a mother; she worked hard to ensure her four children were provided for. For Gloriella, no challenge was impossible, and just about any desired result was within her grasp. Gloriella was thoughtful and often neglected her own feelings in order to give to others. She fought the great fight of breast cancer until the very end. Gloriella had many hobbies such as gaming and playing Pokeman Go, but her favorite pastime times included spending time with her family, her adored grandchildren and parents. She loved to travel and listen to music, especially rock.

Simply stated, Gloriella had a heart of gold, someone who was sassy but loved to make people laugh and help other. Her unique personality, kindness and generous soul will be greatly missed. Her family and friends will miss her dearly as she leaves with all those who knew her many wonderful memories.

A visitation for Gloriella will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr; a rosary will be recited during visitation. A catholic mass will occur Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McAllen, TX with her burial scheduled to follow at 2:00 PM at Mission Cemetery, Mission, TX.

Una visita para Gloriella se llevará a cabo el lunes 13 de diciembre de 2021 de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. y continuará el martes 14 de diciembre de 2021 de 9:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. en Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley en Pharr; se rezará un rosario durante la visita. Una misa católica tendrá lugar el martes 14 de diciembre de 2021 a la 1:00 p. m. en la iglesia católica St. Joseph, McAllen, TX y su entierro está programado para las 2:00 p. m. en Mission Cemetery, Mission, TX.
