Guadalupe Polanco, 79, of Pharr, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Guadalupe lived a life rooted in compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She was married to her beloved husband, Fernando Polanco, for 62 years—a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a large and loving family. Guadalupe was a proud and dedicated mother to her nine children: Fernando Jr.(Amelia) Juan Pedro(Bertha), Mercedes (Sergio), Patricia(Elpidio), Valentina (preceded in death), Bernabe (Sandra), Ruby (Rafael) Belén, and Nydia Guadalupe.

Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her warmth, wisdom, and boundless affection.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, Anita and Bernabe Garcia, as well as her six brothers: Genaro, Gilberto, Juan, Jaime, Javier, and Jesus. She is survived by her loving husband, her children, and her four sisters: Teresa, Martha Elena, Ana Bertha, y Reyes and two brothers: Gerardo y Jorge Garcia, along with a large extended family who will forever cherish her memory.

Known for her love of cooking, Guadalupe found joy in preparing meals that brought her family together. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and love. She had a generous heart and a nurturing spirit—always ready to offer care, kindness, and affection to anyone in need. She never turned anyone away and was happiest when surrounded by those she loved.

Guadalupe Polanco will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, US, on May 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Mother Cabrini Parish, 8001 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577, US, on May 14, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with a Committal to follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.

Guadalupe Polanco, de 79 años, de Pharr, Texas, falleció rodeada del amor de su familia. Esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela devota, Guadalupe vivió una vida basada en la compasión, la fortaleza y una dedicación inquebrantable hacia quienes amaba profundamente.

Estuvo casada con su amado esposo, Fernando Polanco, durante 62 años, un testimonio de amor y compañerismo duradero. Juntos formaron una familia grande y llena de amor. Guadalupe fue una madre orgullosa y dedicada de sus nueve hijos: Fernando Jr. (Amelia), Juan Pedro (Bertha), Mercedes (Sergio), Patricia (Elpidio), Valentina (quien le precedió en la muerte), Bernabé (Sandra), Ruby (Rafael), Belén y Nydia Guadalupe.

Conocida por su amor por la cocina, Guadalupe encontraba alegría en preparar comidas que reunían a su familia. Su cocina era un lugar de consuelo, risas y amor. Tenía un corazón generoso y un espíritu bondadoso, siempre dispuesta a ofrecer cuidado, amabilidad y cariño a quien lo necesitara. Nunca rechazó a nadie y era más feliz cuando estaba rodeada de sus seres queridos.

Guadalupe Polanco será profundamente extrañada, pero recordada con mucho amor por todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.

La velación se llevará a cabo en Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, ubicada en 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, el 13 de mayo de 2026, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., con un rosario a las 7:00 p.m. El servicio funerario se celebrará en la Parroquia Mother Cabrini, ubicada en 8001 S Cage Blvd, Pharr, TX 78577, el 14 de mayo de 2026, de 11:30 a.m. a 12:30 p.m., seguido por el sepelio en el cementerio Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery, ubicado en 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577.
