Henry G. Perez, 65, was born on February 7, 1961, in Beeville, Texas, and passed away on April 17, 2026, in Edinburg, Texas. Henry will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his life, Henry carried himself with a gentle steadiness that put others at ease. He was kind-hearted and thoughtful in the ways that mattered most—through quiet consideration, sincere attention, and a willingness to offer support without seeking recognition. His selfless nature was evident in how he made room for others, giving generously of his time and care.

Henry was also a dedicated and hardworking man who approached his responsibilities with consistency and pride. Even in serious moments, he brought a welcome sense of lightness. His humor was never at anyone’s expense; instead, it was a warm and familiar presence that drew people closer and reminded them not to lose heart. In these ways, he became deeply beloved—someone whose absence will be profoundly felt and whose memory will remain a lasting comfort.

Henry was preceded in death by his beloved son, Henry Perez, Jr.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years of marriage, Mary Perez; his two children, Marlena Carrizales, Henry Matthew Perez; his heart loving step-children, Elizabeth, Rodolfo, Selena Janet; his grandchildren, Dionicio Jr., Alejandro, Marianna, Ezekiel, Analia, Adam, Elias; his five siblings, Sylvia, Minnie, Mary Helen, Rosie, Jesse Perez; numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6 pm and Catholic service at 7 pm. Interment of ashes to take place at a later day.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
