I meet Irma over 20 years ago where she worked  with MISD as a ESL teacher in evening study center.  I have great memories of her, she was always happy, laughing and joking around.  Always talked about her kids and how much she loved them.  May she rest in peace and my condolences to her family.  From El Estudiante jajaja how she would call my husband and Elizabeth Martinez.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to Irma's  loving family. May the God of tender mercies comfort you and help you heal your broken hearts in your time of such great loss and grief. Take comfort in the words in the book of John 6:40; Thru His word HE gives us the hope of seeing our loved one again. Rest in peace my beautiful friend. Irma, how I remember the times when you would scold Artemio for picking me up on the way to school because I was usually not ready; then you would scold me.

The best memory of you was when I became a police officer and every time you saw me you would say that I was "el cop bueno para nada."

My Dearest Friend and Comadre Irma, it is with such sorrow that I write these few lines to express my love and admiration towards you. So many years of knowing each other, running into each other everywhere and taking up like it was yesterday that we had last seen each other. Being around you ALWAYS, ALWAYS included laughter!!! Wonderful memories of our boys playing football with Nikki Rowe. You loving when over the intercom we'd hear, IVAN SANTOS, after he'd make a great play! You'd turn to all of us Rowe Moms and say, "did you hear that Comadre?" So proud! I will always remember your amazing strength... your positive attitude.... your laughter....your faith in God.....your love for Raul, Mandy and Ivan and of course your grandchildren. My Mom (G'ma Tila) and my children, Jennifer, Ricky, Danny and Mario love you. Keep smiling in Heaven. Rest in Peace my friend....I love you.
