We may feel lost and confused during this painful time, but God has a reason and a
plan for everything. He makes no mistakes and he will never abandon us during our
times of grief, he will always provide us with love and hope. Our flesh will hurt and it’s
okay; we must not fear our emotions, let your sorrow wash over you, give into your
feelings, and you will be better for it but always remember one thing! God knows
where we are going and how we are getting there, so place all your faith and trust in Him for he is guiding us along the way to healing. We were not ready for you to go home but we saw you getting tired. As much as our flesh was hurting, we could not ask you to stay, so instead we told you “it’s okay, you can go home”. As we saw you take your last breath, we knew that God had put his arms around you and took you into his presence. Now we have a peace, for we know that God’s got you and you will never suffer or feel pain again. Thank you for everything you have done for us, we love more than words can express and even though we miss you like crazy, we know that we will see you again.
Lydia Lopez was the queen of our hearts, a Proverbs 31 wife, a mom and grandma that no words can explain her beauty and love, a sister that was also a best friend, an aunt that was more like a mom, a friend that was more like family and most important of all she was a Godly woman!
Lydia is survived by her beloved husband, Rene and her five sons, Armando, Rene(Olivia), Jeremias, Andres and Gabriel.
Words from her beloved children:
Armando: Mama created a STRONG tree w/different colorz, shapes & sizes. She WILL LIVE on IN our HEARTZ! Alwayz know that her strength is within all of us, even in the darkest of timez just close your eyez and remember your happiest moment w/her and she will be right there next to you filling your heart w/crazy laughter she alwayz had.
Rene: Mother dear, we love you very much and you will be missed.
Jeremias: Who could ever find a wife like this one—She is a woman of strength and mighty valor! She’s full of wealth and wisdom. The price paid for her was greater than many jewels. –Proverbs 31:10
Andres: Thank you for everything you’ve done for us, love you momma
