Maria Elisa Garza, 84, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at The Heights at Alamo Nursing Home in Alamo. She was born to Fortunato & Soledad Escobedo on January 5, 1934 in Alamo. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Roberto G. Garza and their children: Jose Luis (Gilda) Garza and Robert Garza. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Nicolas T. Garza, Alyssa N. Garza, Robert Cory Garza, Kyle Kasner Garza; siblings: Pedro Escobedo, Petra Vasquez and Luisa Hinojosa. Family will receive friends from 5 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm today, August 14, 2018 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr.
