Ramon Pruneda

He was preceded in death by his parents Alicia Garza, Ramon Pruneda Sr, and his beloved daughter Bernice Elizabeth. He is also preceded in death by his brothers Isauro, Reynaldo, and Uvaldo. Ramon is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lucila Longoria Pruneda, his son Raymond (Cyndi) , daughter Annie, granddaughter Taylor Nicole, his brother Mike (Alicia) Pruneda, nephew Xavier (Rosie & children) Pruneda, and nephew Michael Pruneda (and family) .

He served his God, Jehovah faithfully for 55 years. Ramon loved teaching others about Jehovah from the Bible until he was no longer able to.

All his life he was an appliance salesman. He worked at Montgomery Wards for 29 years until they closed down and he then went on to work at Sears for 15 years until he was forced to retire due to Parkinson's. He battled this illness for 13 years until his passing. Ramon was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed. Outside of the family, those from the church who knew him and his extended family that loved and respected him will also miss Ramon .

We would like to thank the nurses with hospice for their special care and support: Dr. Javier Murillo, Jesenia, Daniel, Yanelly, and Amanda. Memorial services will be held on January 11th at 4:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 2304 N. Mccoll, McAllen TX 78501.
