San Juanita Salazar

MISSION-San Juanita “Janie” Salazar, 64, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Edinburg. She was born on December 31, 1954 to Fuastino and Eusebia Salinas in Reynosa, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents Fuastino and Eusebia Salinas, her brother Abelino Salinas, and her son Joel Salazar Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Joel Salazar Sr., children; Blanca (Jaime Alcoser), Miguel Salazar, Andres Salazar, Sujeyn (Lawrence Fields), Juan Manuel Salazar, Paula Janet (Francisco Garcia), and Jessica (Daisy Garcia). She leaves behind 14 grandchildren; Leah, Ashlee, Mark, Alexys, Lamar, Jaden, Juan Manuel Jr., Juan Andres, Juan Carlos, Diego, Jose Luis, Bryan, Anna, and Lupita. She also leaves behind 3 great-grandchildren; Sofia Makayla, Anthony Abel, and Khaleesi Renee. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel of Serenity at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley. Interment will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements and services are under the care of Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley 4607 N. Sugar Rd. Pharr, Texas.
