

Vanessa Lozano, age 42, of Edinburg, Texas, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Born in Houston, TX, Vanessa was the beloved daughter of Yolanda Lozano and the late Idelfonso Lozano Jr.
Vanessa was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her cherished son, Cesar Manzo; her loving mother, Yolanda Lozano; her sister, Sandra Gallegos and brother-in-law Jose Gallegos; her brother, Luis Lozano; her nephews, Jose Gallegos Jr. and Isaiah Lozano; her nieces, Jasmin Gallegos and Audrey Lozano; her grand-nieces, Anella Gallegos and Aaliyah Gallegos; and her grandmother, Elvira Lozano.
She is preceded in death by her father, Idelfonso Lozano Jr.; her grandparents Teodoso and Aeropajita Cantu, and her grandfather Idelfonso Lozano Sr.
Vanessa will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and warm heart. She had a deep love for music and dancing, which brought joy to those around her. Her talent for drawing reflected her creative soul, and she cherished every moment spent with her family—especially the children who held a special place in her heart. Her humor and infectious laughter lit up any room, and those closest to her admired her ability to bring joy and levity into their lives.
In accordance with her wishes, Vanessa will be cremated, and no formal services will be held. Her family appreciates the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time and encourages everyone to remember Vanessa by the joy she brought into their lives.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
