Barbara Ann Blizzard

Barbara Ann Blizzard , 82 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm EST, Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL with Pastor Neal Blizzard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Mrs. Blizzard was born November 27, 1940 in Maryville, Tennessee; daughter of the late R.V. Farmer and Roma Elizabeth Farmer. She was retired from Martin Army Hospital, was a member of The Church of Columbus and was an avid Tennessee Volunteers Ladies Basketball fan.

Survivors include her husband, John H. Blizzard, Jr., daughters, Lynn Duff (Bob), Lorrie Youmans, Paula Collins and son, Chip Blizzard (Amy; grandchildren, Drew Duff, Lyndi Reeder, Brent Clark, Halle Blizzard, Dalton Blizzard, Rachel Blizzard and great grandchildren, Bailey Moss, Madison Clark, Delaney Duff, Wyatt Reeder, Kinsley Reeder, Harlee Overton and Sadie Overton.
