Bertha Mae Baker, age 84, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. EST, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Pastor Jack Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Baker was born March 29, 1938 in York, South Carolina; daughter of the late Jessie and Savannah Sexton Bush. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Baker, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Baker and daughter-in-law, Christie Baker, son, J.D. Baker, daughter, Ruby White and son-in-law, Roger White, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
