Betty Mae Martin

Betty Mae Martin, lovingly known as "G-Maw" age 82, of Fort Mitchell, Alabama passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Betty was born in Newark, Ohio; daughter of the late George and Mabel Frances Wilson Hillary. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She loved all things "Bears", she loved making latch hook rugs and quilting, all by hand. She was and avid sports fanatic, especially golf. Tiger Woods was her favorite and was an avid Alabama fan and Braves fan. Everyone who knew her, loved her.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wade Martin.

Survivors include her three daughters, Frances M. Drew (Michael), Angela M. Osborne, Elzina M. Reaves and her late husband, Charlie Reaves; grandchildren, Summer Oldham (Caleb), Sarah Jean Brown (Keith), Chris Waterman (Vickie), Amanda Nicole Adams (Billy), Michael H. Drew (Colby Enoch), Ashley R. Darby, Joshua W. Martin, Cymone Ontario Reaves, Jeremy Trevor Reaves (Alexis), Chaunce Delquerro Reaves; great grandchildren, Paisley Fulghum, Aria R. Bulleck, Ocean R. Oldham. Kevin Brown, Cooper Waterman, Maci Waterman, Emma Adams, Eli Adams, McKaylin N. Drew, Kaitlyn Drew, Kimberly Martin, Savannah Martin, Jasper Darby, Carmen Alexis Reaves, Aniya Lewis, Makiyla Shanae Kim Reaves, Emaleigh Brooke Reaves and Jeremiah Luke Reaves. She also leaves behind her brother-in-law, John E. Martin, nephew Christopher Holman (Cindy) and two great nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. EST, January 23, 2023 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama.
