Christie Michelle Dean, 38, of Phenix City, Alabama, died Thursday September 29, 2011 in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday October 2nd in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, AL. 36867, with the Reverend Alan Griffith officiating. Visitation was Saturday from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Dean was born January 17, 1973 in Columbus, GA., daughter of Jerald Dean and Kathy Gray Dean Simpson, both of Phenix City, AL She was a loving mother, daughter and sister.
Survivors other than parents include her daughter, Janelle Dean, U.S. Navy, Great Lakes, IL., sons, Thadeus and Nicholas Vannburan of Phenix City, brother and sister-in-law, David and Pam Dean of Smiths Station, AL., sisters, Karen Dean of Phenix City, Sharon Myers and husband Brad of Norfolk, VA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
