Elmer Lee Everidge, Jr., 83 of Phenix City, Alabama died Thursday April 19, 2018. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Comer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. At Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Everidge was born November 13, 1934 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late Elmer Lee Everidge, Sr. and Fannie Mae Woods Everidge. He served in the U.S. Navy and later retired from MeadWestvaco after 32 years of service. He was a member of the River of Life Church in Phenix City.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Fay Williams Everidge.
Survivors include his sons, Lee Everidge and Chris Everidge (Cindy), three grandchildren, Lindsey Montes (Adrian), Katie Phillips (Mikey), Hannah Everidge and two great grandchildren, Ella Brown and Andrew Phillips. He was an avid Auburn Football and Nascar fan and will be greatly missed by his family.
