Elmer “Lee” Everidge, III, age 63 of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 at his home. A Graveside Service is planned for 11:00am Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Everidge was born February 1, 1961 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late Elmer Lee Everidge, Jr. and Virginia Fay Williams Everidge. He served in the US Navy and was formerly employed with Mead/West-Vaco, now known as West Rock. He was a member of River of Life Church and the Phenix City Moose Lodge. He loved fishing, planting plants and flowers, collecting pocket knives; He was a “music buff” of all kinds of music, loved playing guitars and was a huge Auburn fan.
Survivors include his wife, Carola Chappell Everidge, daughters, Hannah Everidge Radney and husband, Tyler, Sydney King and husband, Tyler, grandchildren, Ella Grace Brown, Levi Hudson Everidge and Isla Fay Radney. He is also survived by his brother, Andrew Chris Everidge and wife, Cindy, nieces, Lindsey Montes and husband, Adrian, Katie Phillips and husband, Mikey, nephews, Andrew and Nathan and his granddogs, Bo and Dixie.
Following the service on Saturday, Everyone is invited to a Celebration of Life at the Phenix City Moose Lodge.
